From its source in the Vosges, the river Meurthe flows right past. In summer a swim in its cool waters is a tempting prospect and many an angler has returned home satisfied with a tasty catch for his supper.
And for a bit of winter magic, you could do no better than a walk beside the river when it is frozen over - simply beautiful!

There are various paths leading from the estate through the neighbouring pine forest and along the gentle surrounding slopes.

Close by there are many tourist attractions and great places for sport fans to visit, such as the Lac Blanc.
This ski resort with its snow cannons, floodlit pistes and 6-seater chairlift, is approximately 12km from the estate.

Also 12km away is the Lac Blanc bike park whilst the delightful Alsace town of Kaysersberg, with its beautifully preserved half-timbered houses and popular Christmas market, is just 34km away.
The spa resort of Gérardmer with its large lake, perfect for a swim in summer or for skating on in the winter months, is situated just 18km from the holiday apartments.

The apartment buildings have been lovingly restored with great attention to detail and using only the highest-quality building materials. Fresh drinking water comes courtesy of the estate's own private spring.

The apartments are furnished with elegant solid fruitwood furniture.

What was once the stable has been converted and fully modernised to accommodate the Appartement Jaune, beautifully decorated in shades of yellow, orange and red and the Appartement Violet, with its attractive lilac colour-scheme.



On the ground floor of the main house (the Maison Forestiere) is the Appartement Forestier which can accommodate up to four people. Each of the apartments has its own furnished terrace.
